So it's Saturday morning and we're getting ready to teach our Saturday classes. This is a short weekend for us because the term here is ending. So next week starting on Monday we're going to be planning the "camp" which will start the Monday after that. Today is also the day we buy the motorbike from a teacher who's leaving. So this weekend we'll probably ride around town a little bit and check things out. We also plan on getting a thai massage today (270 baht/ 2hrs ~ $4/ hr). Tomorrow we may hike up a little mountain on the edge of town. There's also Sunday dinner with the Doctor and P'Nong.
All the old teachers will be gone by Monday which will be wierd. There's 4 leaving. On the plus side Justin and I won't have to share a desk anymore.
I'd love to hear what everyone is up to and let us know if you have any questions about life here. Hope everyone's having a nice weekend!

Hi Kids: Did you get your motorbike? Blog a picture of it? (Can 'blog' be a verb? I'll ask some English teachers--Hey Aleza and Justin, can blog be a verb?) I loved the pictures of the market place. Have you tried all of it yet? Does American Thai food have anything in common with Thai Thai food? Are there complete cooked meals (like curries or something) available in the market? I just see individual ingredients or the fried chicken or stuff on a stick. Have you been cooking at home very much? It looks like some great fresh food is available. I can't believe that the sweet corn is so good. I never even would have guessed that they had sweet corn at all. Sweet corn, fried chicken and watermelon sounds more like a 4th of July meal than a traditional Thai meal. Mom and I are going to go out and eat at Thai Taste once a week and try a different dish each week to acclimatize ourselves before we come visit. Yum. Keep blogging, lots of people read them. (Aleza, maybe you should tell people to "click on the word 'comments' to post a comment, and then click on 'sign up here' to get a Google account, and then click on 'publish your comment' to finally post a comment.) Justin, it's time for you to post some blogs!
Love you, Dan
